The second annual TCC Employee Intercampus Games have arrived.
A series of competitions pitting the employees of all TCCD campuses against each other, the idea was a spin-off of a previous competition called the Corporate Challenge, Kevin Harper, NE HPE instructor, said.
“ Different companies competed against each other in mostly athletic events,” he said. “When that ended, we decided to do it between campuses.”
In its second year, the event has already drawn interest from the district’s employees, Harper said, with about 500 participants last year. Games include bowling, crossword, sudoku, softball, volleyball and golf.
“ The goal is to promote health, wellness and camaraderie between campuses,” he said.
