The Women in New Roles and health services are sponsoring Laughing Your Way Through Stress.

The seminar is open to the campus community and will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the South Campus Forum Room.

The information will be presented by Flo Stanton, South Campus nurse and coordinator of health services.

The goal of the seminar is “to promote one’s health by discussing stress and the benefits of laughter to manage stress,” she said.
Stanton detailed the objectives of the seminar.

“ [I want the seminar to] increase awareness about attitudes and feelings toward laughter, to increase knowledge about the benefits of laughter, to provide an opportunity for individuals to laugh and to promote more laughter in everyday life.”
