Oct. 31 NE Campus continues its 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the NHPE gym. No pre-registration is required to participate. Those who are interested in playing can just show up.

Oct.-30 South Campus continues its volleyball tournament. With a maximum of five teams, the second round of the double-elimination games begin at 3:30 p.m.

Oct. 30 The NW Bears Club will host Costume Lift 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the NW gym. The event will feature a weightlifting contest and a best-dressed challenge. Participants can wear costumes but must keep in mind proper weightlifting attire. For more information, email club president Chuck Grier at charles.grier266@my.tccd.edu.

Nov. 1 The third Toro Dash begins at 8 a.m. in Trinity Park in Fort Worth with a one-mile fun run, 5K and 10K. Day of the race prices are $25 for the fun run and $40 for the 5K and 10K. Proceeds go the TCC Foundation scholarship fund.

Nov. 5 Students can participate in the second annual 3-on-3 intramural basketball tournament on NW Campus beginning at 3:30 p.m. Teams must sign up in advance and have between three and five players. The games will last 20 minutes each. The registration deadline is Nov. 3 at 3:30 p.m. The tournament is open to students, faculty and staff. Nov. 7 SE will hold an intramural volleyball tournament 1 p.m. in the gym. Students can participate by attending the captain/free agent meeting at 1 p.m. Nov. 3 in the cardio room. For more information, contact physical education instructor Shahzad Nazir at shahzad.nazir@tccd.edu.

Nov. 15 South Campus’ Gobble Wobble fun run will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the SHPE parking lot. Students and faculty can participate for free with the donation of six nonperishable food cans, and the cost for non-TCC participants is $10 early bird with six cans and day of registration is $15 with six cans.
