Now-Sept. 30 The NE library is hosting One Month Later Images from Ground Zero. This photo exhibit from Vicki Kluthe, adjunct photography instructor, includes images from one month after 9/11.

Sept. 14 NW transfer center will host its second annual Transfer Fiesta 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the WSTU main hallway. Students can meet university representatives and learn about deadlines for applications and financial aid.

Sept. 14 TR’s Discovery Center for Student Success will hold a Student Success Workshop on study skills 1-2 p.m. in the Discovery Center (TRTR 3102). Students can hear about various learning styles and ways to study based on those learning types.

Sept. 14 Sail to Success will bring NE learning centers together for an open house 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the academic learning center (NCAB 1114). Students can interact with representatives from several NE learning centers and receive information on services and aids for college success.

Sept. 14 Registration for the SE intramural dodgeball tournament will be held in the gymnasium at 11 a.m. The tournament will be held Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. Students must register to play.

Sept. 14 South will hold CRASE training 10 a.m.-noon in the SSTU Living Room. Students will learn how to handle an active shooter on campus.

Sept. 14-15 NE career services will hold an open house and information session 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in its new multi-purpose lab (NSTU 1101A). Students, faculty and community can learn about the MyPlan Career Assessment, which the office administers. Refreshments will be served. Sept. 15 Investing in Undergraduate Education will be held 6-7:30 p.m. in the Community Room (NBSS 1103) on NE Campus. This TG Financial Education module will provide key information to help parents and students understand the costs of attending college and learn how to meet those costs. Sept. 22 NE will host ASK: Suicide Prevention noon-2:30 p.m. in the Community Room (NBSS 1103). ASK is a program that trains people to recognize suicide risk factors and the proper way to handle those situations.
