Carl’s Jr. has launched its 14th annual Carl N. and Margaret Karcher Founders Scholarship program that will award 60 selected students $1,000 each.
Applications are available at carlsjr.com/scholarship. The submission deadline is Feb. 1.
The program is honoring the late founders commitment to the community.
“The scholarship program is a part of our ongoing efforts to give back to the people in the community,” said Andrew F. Puzder CEO of CKE Restaurants Inc., parent company of Carls Jr.
Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates age 21 and younger and residents of one of the 13 states where Carl’s Jr. operates its restaurants; which included Texas.
The scholarship program was initiated in 1999 and has granted $630,000, including this year’s applicants.
