Students who attended the third annual Student Success Conference got tips to help them take college full on.
Held Sept. 15 and 16 on NW Campus, the conference focused on areas that cause many students to struggle and drop classes, said Lily Calzada, committee co-chairwoman for the conference.
Fewer dropped classes mean more students successfully complete their degree plans, she said.
“The whole goal is retention,” Calzada said.
Several academic departments, such as science, math, history and dance participated in the conference.
