Are You Managing Your Time or Is Your Time Managing You?
That is what students can find out during the upcoming success seminar presented next week on South Campus.
Suzanne Carranza, a South Campus counselor, will help students identify their major time-wasting behaviors and reverse them to their benefit.
The seminar will aid both full-time and part-time students with effective organization and time management practices.
Carranza said students who attend can participate in a sample time analysis as well as other exercises to help them answer questions such as “What kind of time manager are you?”
This seminar is one in a series on South Campus aimed at helping students get the most from their college experience.
In addition, this seminar and the others in the series can help students increase their potential for positive outcomes when it comes to grades and overall achievement, Carranza said.
The session is 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Oct. 6 in the SSTU Texas Room.
Anyone can attend.
