Students planning to graduate at the end of the fall semester must apply for a petition by Friday, Nov. 2.
Associate of Arts degree students should contact their respective counseling center. Students getting an Applied Science degree or certificate of completion should contact their technical program coordinators, and Associate of Arts in Teaching degree graduates should contact their division academic advisor.
“ There is no charge to petition for graduation,” Van Parker, NE Campus vice president for student development services, said in a staff memo.
Students petitioning for fall graduation will receive diplomas in January 2008. Fall graduates are eligible to participate in the Spring 2008 graduation ceremonies and should designate that option on the graduation petition, Parker said.
In order to graduate, a student must have at least a 2.0 in all required courses with a minimum of 25 percent of courses earned in residence at TCC.
