Now-Oct. 24 The SE C.A. Roberson Theatre will hold a production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Drama instructor Megan Haratine directs the classic tragedy, which tells the story of the troubled Danish Prince Hamlet and his struggle for revenge against his Uncle Claudius, who murdered his father, married his mother and stole the throne for himself. Now-Oct. 31 The NE library presents Havana, Cuba: First Glance, 2011. Rick Barton, Martha Gordon and Patricia Richards applied for and received U.S. State Department visas to travel to Cuba in 2011. Oct. 22-Nov. 30 SE Campus will exhibit Blues Talk: Ain’t No Cliché Chit-Chat by artist Vicki Meek, an art installation in Art Corridor II. The exhibit, which examines the relationship between the blues and overcoming hardship, is a collaboration among the artist and various poets. Oct. 30 NW’s Mosaic Dance Project will perform 2:30-4 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m. in Theatre Northwest.
