Trailercana (3.5 stars)
Trailercana, the newest album from Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours, is as funny and charming as its band name.
The Americana sound is sincere but with intriguing lyrics and clever word play.
“Prozac Made Me Stay” is a downright humorous track about a man on Prozac who sees the world as “warm and squishy and covered with fuzz.”
The whole album is mellow tunes with a comedic twist to them. The CD is a good listen when you want to take a breather.
The slow, Southern charm Trailercana brings is a welcome change and makes it a good album to check out.
