By Chris Webb/nw news editor

Gas prices are out of control and electric bills are through the roof, but no one seems to know why. Energy Conference: Pricing, Production and Legality, presented by NW Campus business department, will shed some light on the issue Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Dr. Stephen Brown, director of energy economics and microeconomic policy analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and Judon Fambrough, senior lecturer and attorney at law with the Texas Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University, will lead the presentation drawing from extensive experience in the field.

The presentation will focus on energy prices and legal issues in the production of oil and gas. Specific issues will be addressed during question-and-answer time following each presentation.

The event is open and free to anyone who wants to attend 8-11:30 a.m. in WSTU 1303.
