Now-May 2 The Wedding Singer: The Musical opens at 7 p.m. with another performance at 2 p.m. on the 1st in NE’s NFAB theater. Based on the Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer is a musical comedy set in the ’80s and centers around wedding singer Robbie Hart’s journey to find love after being left at the altar. Now-May 3 Theatre Northwest presents Sylvia, a play by A.R. Gurney. A man is despondent until he finds a dog and brings her home, but that causes issues with his wife. Showtimes are 7:30-9:30 p.m. April 29-May 2 and 2-4 p.m. May 3 in WTLO 1108. Tickets are free for TCC students, faculty and staff, $3 for non-TCC students and seniors and $6 general admission. April 30-May 1 South’s Continuum will perform during Paradigm: A Dance Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Joe B. Rushing Performing Arts Center’s Carillon Theatre. May 7 The Northwest Dance Company, Mosaic Dance Project and spring technique classes will perform 1-2 p.m. in WTLO Theatre Northwest. May 7 NW spring composition and choreography students will perform original dance pieces 7:30-8:30 p.m. in Theatre Northwest (WTLO building). May 7-8 Dance Works will be presented 7:30 p.m. in the C.A. Roberson Theatre on SE Campus. Tickets are free for TCC students and $5 for general admission. This concert will showcase students currently enrolled in dance classes and the student dance ensemble, Rhapsody Movement Company.
