Feb. 10 Career services will host a Service Learning Fair 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Commons on SE Campus. Students can sign up with agencies for student learning hours or receive information on volunteering in the community.
Feb. 10 The student success seminar Digging Out of Debt will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615) on NE Campus. Business assistant professor Randy Saleh will inform students how to properly use financial aid and get out of debt. A light lunch will be served.
Feb. 10 NW’s Bridge Program and success coaches will host Surviving Your First Semester 2-3 p.m. in the Innovation Forum (WTLO 3101A). Students will hear tricks and tips about getting the most out of their first semester.
Feb. 10 Julie Smalley from the National Marrow Donor Program will be on NE Campus in the NTAB lobby 9 a.m.-2 p.m. to recruit bone marrow donors. Bone marrow transplants are life-saving treatments for those with leukemia, lymphoma and other diseases. Certain health requirements must be met to donate.
Feb. 10 NW student activities will sponsor Club Corral 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in WSTU 1303-1305. Students can look at all the clubs and organizations available on campus while games, food, music and a selfie station will be available.
Feb. 10 Carter BloodCare will hold a blood drive 9 a.m.-4 p.m. outside the Student Center on NE Campus. Healthy donors must be at least 110 pounds, 16 years of age and have a valid ID. Fifty-six days must have passed before the previous donation, and it is recommended that one is hydrated and has eaten prior to donating.
Feb. 10 The TR counseling center will sponsor Time Management: Tick, Tock! 11 a.m.-noon in the TR Discovery Center (TRTR 3102). This workshop will equip students with the tools needed to take back their lives and balance their time.

Feb. 11 Love That Smile With All Your Heart will be presented 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Darlage Center Corner (NSTU 1615) on NE Campus. The program will teach students how dental health can also affect heart health and will include a complimentary heart-healthy lunch. Reservations are required. Feb. 12 Students can travel with TR Campus to the University of Texas at Dallas for Trinity River on the Go-UT Dallas Preview Friday. Students will learn more about UT-Dallas as counselors provide detailed information about admissions, financial aid, scholarships and campus life. UT Dallas will provide application fee waivers for the upcoming school year to students who attend. Transportation is provided, but space is limited, so RSVP soon.
