NE Campus will hold Knowing What You Owe March 30. The financial literacy session will give students information about student loans.
Financial aid specialist Joe Rodriguez will conduct the PowerPoint presentation 12:30-2 p.m. in NBSS 1103.
“Students need to know what resources are available to them,” he said.
Attendees will receive a workbook to help them follow the presentation and form questions. They will learn steps to receiving a student loan as well as the importance of keeping track of loans after they graduate.
Rodriguez said he will stress the importance of borrowing wisely and knowing post-graduation income to avoid being swamped with student loans in the future.
