Club to showcase its spectrum of talents

By Jason Middlebrooks

South Campus’ Spectrum club will host a talent show 5-9 p.m. April 20 in SSTU 1114.

Students can watch their classmates sing, dance and play instruments among other entertainment acts.

“Students can expect a very wide variety of different styles of performance from singing different languages to different cultures of dance,” Spectrum member Daunte Stone said. “People are coming here to work out of their shell.”

Spectrum president Tyler Jackson said the club has over 30 acts that have auditioned.

“We just want to show that Spectrum can host an event just like everyone else,” he said. “Students should expect to be entertained and see TCC’s finest and most skilled, talented students.”

Jackson says the talent show will involve true diversity.

Everyone attending the show will be with “diverse and inclusive” people.

“Everyone is involved,” he said. “We are bringing the entire campus together and having fun.”
