NW Campus’ Fire Service Training Center opened its doors to area emergency responders for a disaster drill March 22 focusing on mass casualties.
Fort Worth police joined the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, MedStar and fire departments from Azle, Benbrook, Lake Worth and Saginaw to participate in a scenario that included an F-16 fighter jet plane crashing into a building, car, cab and trailer.
The exercise included 25 “victims” that were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital.
