NW Campus Walsh Library celebrated Library Week with National Library Workers’ Day Tuesday.
“It’s to acknowledge how hard we work,” said Sandra McCurdy, library services director on NW Campus.
The librarians hung a banner and put up balloons around the library. The librarians gave out peppermints to students, and McCurdy brought special treats to the librarians, McCurdy said.
The Walsh Library was named after the Walsh family, who gave all the land for the entire NW Campus.
