Now-Dec. 1 Photos by Elizabeth Beckham are on display in the Neo Gallery in the Communication Arts Building on NE Campus. The north hallway of the NCAB photography wing holds the exhibit of Beckham’s photos of Asian large ball-joint dolls, which she describes as “creepy.” The photos are available for viewing Monday-Saturday during normal school hours.

Nov. 3 NE Campus will host a piano concert at 4:30 p.m. in NFAB 1104. Students, faculty and staff are invited to come hear Avguste Antonov, an all-American composer of piano music. For more information, call music instructor Karen Parsons at 817-515-6105.

Nov. 8 NE students, faculty and staff are invited to attend Music Through the Centuries 7-9 p.m. in Center Corner (NSTU 1615A). The audience will hear music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary eras as the audience travels from room to room for each performance. Nov. 10 NW’s dance club will host Dancing with the TCC Stars starting at noon in WSTU 1303-1305. The ballroom competition will take place among TCC faculty, staff and students. The club is raising funds for the Assessment Center of Tarrant County, a safe haven for children under 17 who are victims of domestic abuse. Nov. 11 NE students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the Rockumentary Concert at 7 p.m. in Center Corner (NSTU 1615A) The audience will hear the history of rock ’n’ roll. For more information, call music instructor Warren Dewey at 817-515-6434.

Nov. 11-12 NE Campus will host the Chamber Ensemble Festival in College Hall (NCAB 1111). Strings and Mixed Ensembles will be 3-6 p.m. on the 11th with a piano trio concert at 7 p.m. Piano and Other Ensembles is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on the 12th. Featured artists include violinist Kristin Van Cleve and pianist Bradley Bolen. For more information, call music professor Hsinyi Wang at 817-515-6255.

Nov. 12 NW Campus’ music program will host a flute studio recital starting at 1 p.m. in WFAB 1105. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, contact music associate professor Eddie Vandewalker at richard.vandewalker@tccd.edu.

Nov. 16-Dec. 16 The NW Campus Lakeview Gallery will host The Fab Four exhibit 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays in WFAB 1135. Four student artists, handpicked by a jury, will get an entire wall in the Lakeview Gallery to create an expansive art piece using a $100 budget. The chosen artists will have one week to create their large works starting Nov. 9. The exhibit will be free. Nov. 17-19 South Campus’ theater students will perform Chekhov Tonight! at 7:30 p.m. in the Joe B. Rushing Center for the Performing Arts. The play will feature scenes written by Anton Chekhov and curated by adjunct theater instructor Richie Haratine. Admission is free for all TCC students, faculty and staff, $3 for other students and senior citizens and $6 for the general public.
