Architects to present residential design techniques on SE Campus

As part of Architecture Month, the SE architectural technology program will sponsor a presentation by Bernbaum-Magadini Architects April 25.

Arnie Radman, SE architecture instructor and coordinator, said Bruce Bernbaum and Patricia Magadini will discuss some of their current projects 7-9 p.m. in the ESEE North Ballroom.

“Bernbaum and Magadini work on residential and some commercial projects. They will talk about what they do and are working on right now,” he said. “Anyone interested in architecture or art or a good example of contemporary architecture will be interested in the presentation and its speakers.”

Both architects were Radman’s students about 13 years ago when he taught a computer-aided design course at El Centro College in Dallas.

The firm’s current projects include designs for new and under-construction residences as well as renovations, including a 27,000 square-foot, single-tenant office building for a nonprofit organization.

Bernbaum said their presentation would show the transition of architectural philosophy into reality.

“We will provide insights on residential designs and what happens in an architecture office,” he said, “as well as what we do to assist our clients, find their needs and turn their goals into something remarkable.”

The presentation is free and open to the public.
