In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Sundance Square will be hosting the fourth annual Cars and Culture Show Sept. 19 from noon to 11 p.m.
This event is free to the public and will display 200 lowrider classic cars in a variety of bold colors. As well as the car show, there will be live music, local food vendors and market vendors.
The Houston Street art galleries will be open for evening viewings alongside the car show.
Duke’s Car Club is the one behind it all. The original Duke’s was established in South Central Los Angeles in 1962. Now, there are 55 chapters worldwide, including 9 in Texas.
“Zombie” Joe Chavez is the founder and president of the Fort Worth chapter which has been around for 10 years. He said he hopes families will come out and embrace the culture.
