Students and staff are invited to attend a new series of seminars to be offered on SE Campus focusing on the personal success stories of TCC professionals.
   In “Everyone Has a Story,” faculty members will share their life stories and explain what has inspired them to become teachers and/or administrators.
   “ The idea here is to build a bridge of communication between students and professionals here on SE Campus,” Doug Peak, student services director, said.
   February’s presentation, Thursday, Feb. 9, at 11:30 in the ESED North Ballroom, will celebrate African-American heritage in honor of Black History Month.
   At press time, scheduled speakers include Dr. Curtis Hill, director of counseling and testing; Veronica Warrior, coordinator of heath services; Robert McKizzie, assistant professor of economics; and Carrie Tunson, dean of continuing education.
   In March, the series will focus on Women’s History Month by highlighting female leaders and administrators on SE Campus.
   Peak said he hopes TCC students will find inspiration in faculty members whom they interact with on a daily basis.
   “ Often we have super stars come and speak and then leave,” he said.
   “ Hopefully we will reveal success stories here on our campus so that our students can begin to see there is a super star in everyone just waiting to come out,” he said.
