Now-Dec. 10 Claudia Baez presents her artwork Paintings After Proust. Blending art and literature, her work is inspired by French novelist Marcel Proust and a painting by artist Eric Karpeles. Now-Dec. 13 The NW art department will display its newest art exhibition, No Boundaries, featuring works from select NW art students. This year’s featured students are Eunjoo Maxwell, Francisco Olmos, Tippy Phetsamone and Lauren Tomlinson. Dec. 10 The NW Campus visual and performing arts department presents Fall into Dance, an informal concert featuring ballet, modern jazz, hip-hop, musical theater and ballroom dance, performed by the NW dance company Mosaic Dance Project and fall 2015 technique classes. The performance will be 1-3 p.m. in WSTU 1303-1305 with a $1 admission fee. All students are invited to support the program as well as find out more about the NW dance classes. Dec. 11-12 The NE Dance Company will present Interlaced Constellation, the final concert of the semester featuring the Movers Unlimited Touring Company at 7:30 p.m. with an additional performance at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in the NE theater (NFAB 1205). The concert will feature ballet, hip-hop, ballroom dancing, musical theater and many more styles. Tickets are $5 for the general public.
