“I would choose the 1980s. It was such an influential decade for pop culture and music. I would love to have been able to go to a Duran Duran or The Smiths concert. I also love the style and clothing trends that occurred then. The big hair, excessive use of denim and classic windbreakers. “

“Oh probably the 2000’s. Just the start of kind of around the internet. Housing prices weren’t too bad. I could get in on a lot of crypto or all that sorts of stuff. Just nice and not too complicated.”

“I’d say the French Revolution era because I feel like at the time the French culture was really rich. And the reason they rose to power due to the treatment of their people was really understandable. And i just feel like, with the rising tension and the shifting of powers would be interesting to live in because it’s not too far from what we live in now.”

“Okay, I’ve thought about this question for a long time, actually. I would definitely say the 1950’s. I just think that time was just slower. … I loved the outfits, like the poodle skirts. I loved the dancing. And I feel like culturally, people were just, well at least in the black community, I think people were more connected. I think more tight, and they were fighting for the same thing. … Culture was blooming. I feel like feminism was also kind of coming out and blooming at the time. It was just the start of the generation of change.”
