A time management presentation March 29 will provide students with systemizing tips.

Academic advisor Patavia Whaley will inform students on the steps to take when managing their time.

“We’re going to give them a lot of tips and information on what they can do to help build their time management skills so when they’re scheduling their classes in the future, they know what they should be thinking about so they can put themselves in the best position possible to be successful,” she said.

This workshop will provide students with the skills needed to help them attain a stress-free environment and prevent procrastination.

Whaley said a lot of our TCC students either work, are parents or may even have to take care of their little brother or sister.

“We want to be able to help them manage everything they have going on both at home and any other obligations they may have and still be successful in school,” she said.

This workshop is open to all students who want to learn new ways to be organized and better themselves in school as well as in their everyday life.

“We are focused on getting the students to understand how important time management is and how it will make their college experience so much better if they understand it and learn how to build these skills,” she said.

This event will be 10-11 a.m. March 29 in the Discovery Center on TR Campus.
