NW Campus’ Cornerstone Honors program is hosting Dodge for a Cause, a dodgeball fundraiser open to all TCC students 3:30-6 p.m. April 12 in the campus gym (WCJC 1205).
This fundraiser is one of several that Cornerstone sponsors with proceeds going to the Lake Worth Pregnancy Center, said NW Cornerstone secretary Megan Taylor.
“The money that we raise helps young mothers that could use some help with diapers, formula, clothing — anything they may need,” Taylor said.
Cornerstone donates all money raised throughout the semester to the pregnancy center in hopes of providing aid and support to struggling mothers and their children, she said.
Cost is $5 per person or $20 for a team of six. Sign-ups can be done beforehand on NW Campus, or at the door the day of the event.
Students from all campuses are invited, and free popcorn will be offered, Taylor said.
