Presentation aims to help student/teacher relations

Students who would like to communicate effectively with teachers and faculty can attend a NE Campus presentation Jan. 30.

Lisa Benedetti, NE communication arts department chair, will present Communicating Effectively with Faculty 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Center Corner (NSTU 1615A).

The speech will help students learn to communicate with faculty whether it is face to face or by email, Benedetti said.

She said she wants to help students develop skills and let them know that faculty are approachable and can help them be successful.

Benedetti said the speech will be interactive as she will engage the audience by having them discuss and share any good experiences and will only use PowerPoint as a background.
