A panel of women within the science, technology, engineering and math fields will share information with students about pursuing careers 6-7:30 p.m. March 20 in Action C on TR Campus.

The panel will share their experiences and give students advice about working in STEM industries.

“By exposing students to these professionals, we want to let them know their dreams are obtainable,” TR biology adjunct instructor Iris Duarte-Bazaldua said.

Panelists include Claudia Morales from Bell Helicopter, Anupma Sharma from the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Dallas and Dotty Woodson from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service at the Research and Extension Center in Dallas.

“Those majors, women aren’t always well represented, so we wanted to expose our students to women that are successful in careers in those disciplines,” Duarte-Bazaldua said.
