“It’s designed to help [freshmen] establish goals both long term and short term pertaining to their future career plans,” Miranda said.

During the seminar, Miranda will take students step by step through the career planning process.

Miranda said that by the end of the seminar, the students “will have a career plan.”

The seminar is the second in a trio of seminars aimed at helping students, freshmen in particular, decide on their majors and future career aspirations.

“We get them thinking about the career-planning process, especially if they are undecided,” she said.
