NE Campus career and employment services will host the spring job fair Here To Hire 10 a.m.-2 p.m Thursday, March 27.
More than 30 companies will scout for new hires. Businesses will look for numerous positions, not just entry-level jobs. Just a few include professions in health care, child care, military, government, and jobs right here at the TCC police department.
Victoria McCleery, NE Campus career and employment services senior office assistant, encourages students to come prepared.
“Have someone edit your resume for spelling errors or typos and make sure to bring plenty,” she said. “Also, students can call us and find out which businesses will be there specifically so they can do some background research before they go to the job fair.”
Students should not forget to look the part either. Business casual is expected. So they should wear something that looks nice and bring a big stack of resumes for a shot at a new career.
