Services abundant at libraries

Whether stepping foot on a Tarrant County College campus for the very first time or returning to the familiarity of the hustle and bustle of the hallways for another semester, TCC students have access to a wide range of services and resources offered by each of the individual campus libraries.

Although, students can tap into the libraries’ resources on campus, to take a book outside of the library walls, they must have a TCC library card. To obtain a library card, students must either present a current TCC student ID or provide proof of enrollment alongside a government issued ID.

In addition to the standard TCC library cards, the TexShare library card allows students to check out books at many colleges and universities throughout Texas. Students should pay close attention to the policies and availability for each individual library that participates in the TexShare program because the policies vary.

To obtain a TexShare card, visit the circulation desk at the campus library.

Other services of the library include free Internet access and limited computer usage, copying machines, printing capabilities, quiet down time between classes and a convenient place to study.
