Testing seminar to help anxiety

By Ciaran Lambert/tr news editor

TR Campus’ Lunchtime Workshop Series will present Calming Test Anxiety Nov. 30.

The seminar is designed to teach students how to remain calm before, during and after a test.

Most core curriculum classes have at least four to six exams a semester, and this seminar offers ways for students to become better test takers.

The seminar will guide students through learning to control their anxiety, strategies on relaxing during a test and ways to look at test scores to determine how students actually did versus how they think they did.

The workshop will provide a light lunch for participants and will be held noon-1 p.m. in the Discover Room (TRTR 3102).
