Concert to feature dance, music performances

Dance students will showcase their skills in a dance concert Dec. 8 at the C.A. Roberson Theatre on SE Campus.

Dance Works will feature performances from students in the movement-based courses and the student-based Fusion Dance Company.

Dance associate professor Brandy Niccolai-Belfi produces the event each semester.

“Some of the students in these courses have never danced before enrolling in these courses,” she said. “The concert provides a great example of the dance courses that we have to offer here at SE.”

This year’s concert will also feature musical performances from students and faculty of the music department.

The Dance Works concert began in fall 2008 when the dance program was established on SE.

Each year, students from the dance courses and members of the SE Campus dance company perform in the show.
