Dancers steal center stage

Programs end term with shows

TCC’s dance programs held spring shows April 26-28 for students and faculty to show off their choreography and dance expertise they’ve spent the semester or more working on. 

NW kicked things off April 26 with the student choreography showcase, which featured choreography by students and guest performances by Haltom High School dancers and the Encore School of Dance.

South’s concert was also April 26. Program director Kiera Amison produced the concert, which featured various styles of dance and performances by the Continuum Dance Company. 

SE held its Dance Works Spring 2018 concert April 27, which featured the Fusion Dance Company, the spring technique classes and students from the Arlington Collegiate High School. 

NW held its Spring Into Dance: From Sole to Soul show was April 28 and featured dancers from the program as well as alumni and local guest performers. 

NE’s dance program performed its Behind the Scenes show April 27 and 28, which featured the Movers Unlimited Touring Dance Company, the NE Dance Company, members of the NE dance program and the STEPS Dance Company.
